Booking.com and Visionapartments Refused Refund After Visa Issue

I booked a 2-night stay in Zurich, Switzerland through Booking.com. Unfortunately, due to a visa issue, I couldn’t travel and had to cancel the reservation. I reached out immediately, expecting at least a partial refund given the circumstances—but instead, both the hotel (Visionapartments) and Booking.com refused to take responsibility.
Booking says the property won't issue a refund, while the property claims it’s up to Booking.com. I’m caught in the middle, with no accountability from either side. I didn’t use the room, didn’t check in, and still lost the full amount I paid.
