Troublesome Refund with Agoda.com Booking

I made a hotel reservation for one night through the Agoda.com hotel booking app. However, my wife suddenly fell ill and needed urgent surgery, leading to the cancellation of our trip.
I explained the situation to Agoda representatives, and they advised me to speak with the hotel. I talked to the hotel, and they confirmed the cancellation and refund. However, Agoda representatives have not processed the refund. They continuously requested official documents from me, and despite sending all the requested documents, they refuse to initiate the refund.
Agoda has defined my money as cash in their system, but I am demanding the refund to be credited to me. They are pressuring me to spend the money within their own app, but I do not accept that.
