I Paid Agoda for My Hotel Booking but the Reservation Doesn’t Exist at the Property
I booked and fully paid for a hotel reservation through the Agoda app nearly 3 weeks ago, and the confirmation still shows as active and approved in the app. However, upon arrival at the hotel, they had no record of my reservation whatsoever. I’ve been left completely stranded and humiliated at the property, and Agoda has done absolutely nothing to help.
This is a serious failure of service. I paid upfront expecting a smooth experience, only to find myself without a room and no support. Agoda has not responded to any of my emails or attempts to contact customer service, and the hotel staff confirmed that no such booking ever came through their system.
I demand an immediate refund of my full payment and compensation for the inconvenience caused. It is unacceptable to take my money for a service that was never delivered, and then go completely silent when I’m in need of urgent assistance. Agoda must take accountability and resolve this issue now.
