Discontent and Miscommunication with Agoda Booking at Historical Museum Resort
Between September 4 and 8, I made a reservation on your website for the Historical Museum Resort and completed the payment with my credit card.
From the website www.agoda.com/tr, I made a reservation with the number 1013442536 for the Historical Museum Resort for the period from September 4 to 9. An amount of 8308 TL for 4 days was displayed. I completed the transaction and received confirmation that 8308 TL would be deducted from my card. However, instead, an amount of 8676 TL was debited.
Regarding this financial matter, I called the provided contact phone number (Tel: 90-55387634XX), but the person on the other end was misguided and ended the call without connecting to the hotel. I also sent an email to the provided email address ([email protected]), but there was no response.
The real problem started when we checked into the hotel. The hotel was shockingly bad, the staff were incompetent, and the cleanliness and food were miserable. It was an indescribably poor operational situation, and we wanted to cancel the reservation, pay a little more, and switch to a nicer, cleaner hotel. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach anyone from the Agoda company and were ultimately embarrassed with our money.
