Agoda and Property Owner Refuse Refund After Severe Issue at Montpellier Stay

I stayed at a property in Montpellier, France, with reservation number 1426503592. The bathroom fan was extremely noisy, so I closed the door, only to find that I couldn’t open it again. Despite trying my best, the door remained stuck.
I contacted the property owner, who stated that someone could only come to fix it the next day. This was unacceptable since I couldn’t use the bathroom in my apartment. When I said I would report the situation to the police, the owner responded, “You can leave the property, and I’ll refund your money.” Trusting this, I booked another hotel and left.
However, neither the property owner nor Agoda has responded to my refund request. This was a 5-day booking, and I am left without any compensation. How can Agoda allow both the property and itself to withhold my money? This experience was awful, and I will never use Agoda again. I demand a full refund immediately.
