Agoda Rented Me an Unsafe Apartment in Paris - I Cannot Get a Full Refund
I booked a small apartment in Paris through Agoda.com for the dates May 26–30, 2025, with the reservation number 1574235340. After checking other websites, I realized from the reviews that the host is completely unreliable—some guests were even left stranded at the door. I don’t feel safe and want a full refund, but all I get on the Agoda website is a virtual assistant that’s no help at all. They’ve told me I can get a 64% refund and may receive the full amount only if the host agrees, but the host is not responding at all. How can Agoda list a property from such an untrustworthy host? My trust is broken, and I’m extremely anxious—please help me.
