Turkish Airlines Rescheduled My Ticket and Charged Extra Money
In December 2023, I purchased a flight ticket with reservation number TS8G8T for an Adana-Gothenburg trip on April 10, 2024, with a layover in Istanbul. THY rescheduled the departure time from 2:55 AM to 5:55 AM. This change means I would only have 15 minutes to catch my connecting flight in Istanbul. When I explained the situation to customer service, they acknowledged the mistake and said they would revert the flight time to 2:55 AM, but I would need to pay an additional ₺11,583 for this change. I paid the amount. Now, what is my fault here? When I raised this issue, they responded with 'You paid the agency, there's nothing we can do.' I contacted THY customer service directly. My money was essentially taken without any fault or responsibility on my part.
