Turkish Airlines Denied Me to Board Despite Early Arrival

On December 10, 2023, I arrived 40 minutes early for my THY flight from Izmir to Istanbul Airport and had selected my seat a day prior, yet I was denied boarding. The issue was due to an error on the check-in screen after I selected my seat. I received the seat selection confirmation via email. My flight was scheduled to depart at 16:00. I entered the airport at 15:05, but it took me 15 minutes to pass through security and reach the THY desk. When I arrived at the ticket sales point at 15:20, I was informed by the supervisor at the THY front desk that I had been removed from the flight and directed to the ticket sales point. The staff at the ticket sales point stated that they could do nothing for this flight and that I could fly on the 21:40 flight by paying a penalty of ₺740. I realized that my seat had been sold to someone else and that I had been removed from the flight 15 minutes before departure. I request that the relevant department contact me and refund my payment.
