I purchased a ticket from Anadolu Jet, part of Turkish Airlines, on February 28, 2024, for a flight from Düsseldorf to Sabiha Gökçen on April 4, 2024. I was informed that after March 31, Turkish Airlines and Anadolu Jet would separate, and Turkish Airlines would no longer service the April flight. However, since the ticket and PNR belong to Turkish Airlines, Anadolu Jet cannot process anything. For a month, I have been trying to purchase a checked baggage allowance, but no one is helping. Anadolu Jet directs me to Turkish Airlines, and Turkish Airlines directs me back to Anadolu Jet. I simply want to buy a baggage allowance by paying for it. Is that so difficult? If a transition occurred, why wasn't a PNR created with Anadolu Jet? If the service was to be discontinued, there should have been a transfer to avoid inconveniencing passengers. I will have to buy baggage at a higher price at the airport and may not even be able to purchase a baggage allowance. I might not even be able to board the flight with this ticket. No one can provide clear information on this matter.
