Turkish Airlines Luggage Delayed by 24 Hours

My THY luggage was sent to different cities twice and was delivered 24 hours late. None of my expenses were reimbursed.

Due to certain restrictions on compensation for delayed baggage, we regret to inform you that we cannot respond positively to your request.

Compensation for delayed baggage covers necessary emergency expenses incurred from the time of your arrival until your baggage is delivered to you. Unfortunately, emotional claims, loss of work, accommodation expenses, and transportation costs are not included in the compensation.

We kindly ask you to inform us about your emergency expenses (clothing, cosmetics, medicine, etc.).

To ensure a smoother evaluation process, please send us the invoices, receipts, or credit card slips for your emergency expenses along with a list of your expenditures through our Baggage Irregularity Tracking page by selecting 'Previous Feedback / New Feedback'. After reviewing your invoices, we will inform you about the payment as soon as possible.

Continuing: You have requested documents again, which you already have as I sent them previously. To avoid any expenses, I would have had to stay at the airport for 24 hours without food or water, or I had to pay for nearby accommodation and meals, which is only natural. I am on blood-thinning medication and did not take my medication because it took a day. If it had taken longer, I would have had to see a doctor to get medication. I could have incurred hotel expenses, but I stayed with a friend out of goodwill. Despite my goodwill, requesting documents again and rejecting my claim, even though I traveled by the cheapest means, almost saying I should have walked or stayed at the airport for 24 hours, is not fitting for THY. I request my claim to be re-evaluated and positively concluded; otherwise, I will pursue all legal avenues and exercise all my complaint rights. I present and request this with goodwill.

Star Alliance membership is taken to cover such disruptions. I find it difficult to understand how it was obtained.
