Turkish Airlines Lost My Luggage, Ruined My Honeymoon with Delayed Delivery
We flew from Istanbul to Dalaman at 7:45 AM for our honeymoon, with two suitcases in tow. While we received one bag, the other was nowhere to be found, and we waited a long time hoping it would show up. The missing suitcase contained all our personal care items, pajamas, and other essentials. Turkish Airlines later informed us that our suitcase had been left behind in Istanbul and would be delivered to our address on the 12:00 PM flight. We spent hours trying to reach them, calling multiple times, and the stress of this overshadowed our entire week-long vacation. We didn't even have pajamas to sleep in. Finally, at 2 AM, they called us to deliver the suitcase, with no prior notice. The lack of communication and the stress they caused completely ruined our honeymoon, and the company didn’t even apologize.
