Turkish Airlines International Flights Check-in Extra Fee Request
I purchased 4 international tickets from Turkish Airlines and entered our Turkish ID numbers. The Istanbul-Atlanta tickets were successfully created with a special PNR number for 110,000₺. However, due to the lack of passport information for 3 tickets, I was informed that a file needed to be opened for check-in, which could not be done online, and a fee of 18,000₺ was requested. Reluctantly, I paid this fee. The system did not require passport information when purchasing the tickets, nor did it provide a warning about this, leading to this unfortunate experience. Passport information could have been requested from the beginning since it was an international flight. This situation caused a significant cost for us as customers. As a result, I believe the 18,000₺ file fee is unjust and request its refund.
