I Was Charged Exorbitantly by Turkish Airlines Due to System Error
I am filing a complaint against Turkish Airlines (THY): On October 11th, we purchased round-trip tickets from Istanbul to Bari (departure on October 11th and return on October 17th) using our T.C. ID numbers as instructed by a THY representative. Later, we were informed that the flight could only be booked with a passport number. Consequently, separate files were opened for my spouse and me, and we were charged ₺4200 each, totaling ₺8400. If flights cannot be booked with a T.C. ID number, why did THY sell us these tickets? We demand a refund of the unjustly charged ₺8400. Additionally, THY should train their staff better to avoid causing inconvenience to other passengers in the future and should not sell international flight tickets using T.C. ID numbers.
