I purchased a flight ticket from Turkish Airlines, which was canceled at the last minute due to a plane malfunction. We were kept waiting until 11:00 PM for the 8:50 PM flight. We were informed that we would be transferred to another plane and waited until midnight, but we were not allowed to board because that plane had its own passengers. We were told, 'There is a flight at 4:50 AM, you need to get a ticket downstairs.' When we went down to get a ticket, we found out that the tickets were sold out. Finally, they offered us accommodation at a hotel. They arranged a flight for 9:00 AM. We went to the airport around seven in the morning, and when we boarded the plane, it was announced that there was a technical malfunction. We were kept waiting inside the plane for about an hour and a half. The plane malfunction was fixed at 10:30 AM, and the flight took place. These were truly the worst two days I have ever experienced; no meals or any refreshments were offered in the evening. Only breakfast was provided at the hotel in the morning. My blood pressure dropped while waiting for the plane at night; this situation is unacceptable. People were victimized, including children and the elderly. They were constantly trying to delay the flight.
