Turkish Airlines Delayed My Baggage and Caused Long Wait Time

On December 2, 2023, I flew with Turkish Airlines on flight TK 2409 from Antalya to Istanbul Airport at 11:35 AM, with a connecting flight to Ordu Giresun Airport at 3:45 PM. Upon arrival, I discovered that my luggage, which I had checked in at Antalya, was not delivered. I was informed that my luggage was not loaded onto the connecting flight in Istanbul. I was advised to wait for the next flight, which was expected to arrive at Ordu Giresun Airport between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM. However, this flight landed after 9:30 PM. Consequently, I had to wait at the airport for 6 hours. Due to the limited availability of public transportation to my district, which only operates during daytime hours, I missed my chance to travel home by public transit. When I contacted Turkish Airlines customer service, they stated that there was nothing they could do. My luggage was not delivered to me upon my arrival due to the negligence of Turkish Airlines staff. I was left waiting at the airport from 3:45 PM for several hours, causing me to miss the daytime minibuses to my district. Additionally, I was told that nothing could be done to resolve the issue. Regrettably, I must express that I did not expect this level of service from a reputable company like Turkish Airlines.
