Turkish Airlines is causing distress due to delays in international flights, ignoring, and not responding! I had purchased a ticket to embark on a journey starting on September 3, 2023, with a connection from Izmir to Istanbul TK2337, followed by Istanbul to Guangzhou, and then Guangzhou to Wenzhou flights. My TK072 Istanbul to Guangzhou flight, scheduled for September 4, 2023, at 01:15, experienced an approximate 6-hour delay departing from Istanbul Airport. Besides the inconvenience caused by this lengthy delay and the hours I had to spend at the airport, our TK072 flight to Guangzhou only landed around 10:30 at night, causing me to miss my connecting flight, CZ2657, which I had to catch from Guangzhou. Therefore, due to the absence of any flights to Wenzhou after this time, the only authorized Turkish Airlines female representative at Guangzhou Airport informed me that they could not provide accommodation or a hotel and handed me a document as a solution to board a flight with the same connecting airline the next day. As a result, I had an obligation to stay at a hotel at the airport, and the expenses for this hotel have been paid by me, with invoices available. All of these events, delays, and the distress I experienced at the airport led to the cancellation of my meeting and work scheduled for the following day. For these reasons, during this international journey of over 8000 km, I demanded compensation and resolution for both material and emotional damages according to my rights under aviation laws. My case has a registration number, but there has been no response since October 13th!
