I was not allowed to board my Turkish Airlines flight due to overbooking. On April 7th, I headed to the self-check-in kiosks at Istanbul Airport for the IST-Adana TK2480 flight scheduled at 10:15 AM. While attempting to check in, I received a notification that the flight was full and to proceed to the counter. I was directed to the domestic flights section where long queues had formed. From there, I was redirected to other sections. After an hour of this, I was told there were no available seats and I could not board. I was given a denied boarding ticket and sent to the denied office. They provided a ticket for the 16:10 flight and mentioned they would compensate me with 100 euros, depositing the equivalent amount in ₺ to my debit card and giving me a receipt. However, the money is not showing up on my card. I urgently need a resolution. I was made to wait there for 8 hours.
