Turkish Airlines Changed Our Selected Seats 3 Days Before the Flight
On August 11, for our return flight from London to Istanbul on TK 1986, my spouse and I had the option to choose our seat numbers, and we selected them. Three days before the return flight, I received an email stating that due to operational reasons, my spouse and I would be seated separately. Currently, 40% of the plane appears to be empty. When I try to select adjacent seats, an additional fee is immediately requested. Initially, I had already paid this fee by purchasing an extra Fly ticket. Is the reason for this change to charge an additional fee again? How can an international airline like this separate a family? I know the response I will receive: 'Check-in within the last 24 hours.' In that case, I request a refund of the extra Fly fee difference.
