Turkish Airlines Canceled Our Flight And Is Not Helping With An Alternative Flight
We booked a flight from Ankara to Nice for September 8, 2024, months in advance. However, two days ago, we received a message from Turkish Airlines stating that the Ankara-Istanbul leg of the flight was canceled. When we called the call center, we were informed that since we purchased the ticket with miles, there were no available seats at any other time, and there was nothing they could do about it. This is an unacceptable situation. Why are we the ones being inconvenienced when it was Turkish Airlines that canceled the flight? The call center representative reserved a seat on the 1:00 PM flight for now but said they couldn't confirm it because the ticket was purchased with miles. And to top it off, they won’t even let us make any changes with our own money. It's unbelievable! I'm also an Elite Plus passenger! I urgently expect a resolution to this issue. Thank you.
