Turkish Airlines Blocked My Account Because SMS Authentication Does Not Work
I had a terrible experience with Turkish Airlines. I can’t log into my account because the authentication SMS never arrives at my phone number, which I’ve been using for over 15 years. I haven’t changed my number or done anything that could have caused this issue. I was abroad in a foreign country and needed to make urgent changes to my flight—since the SMS never came, I was forced to buy another ticket from a different airline. It was a huge disappointment. But that’s not all. Today, I called the support line and waited almost 10 minutes. The call center representative asked me to confirm every piece of information imaginable—even my mother’s name and countless other details. I lost count. After all that, I was simply told, “You need to go to the website and leave feedback.” I asked why they didn’t just tell me that in the first place instead of dragging me through all these questions—there was no clear answer. I don’t know what kind of madness I’m dealing with, but I need proper support to log into my account again.
