Turkish Airlines Arbitrarily Changed Seat Assignments
In November 2023, I purchased three tickets from Turkish Airlines for a family trip to Mardin. We reserved our seats in advance. However, three days before the flight, due to so-called operational reasons, all our seat assignments, including that of my 11-year-old son, were nonsensically changed. When I contacted customer service, I encountered a process that offered no resolution and even suggested a refund for tickets purchased months in advance. Despite selecting seats earlier, we could only find three seats together almost at the back of the plane. If seats are going to be changed arbitrarily, why do we choose them when buying tickets? Turkish Airlines' customer satisfaction policy is truly poor. The customer service representative was not capable of resolving the issue. When asked for the reason behind the change, there was no meaningful explanation.
