Incorrect Last Name on Turkish Airlines Ticket
I purchased round-trip tickets with two layovers for myself and my infant daughter through the Turkish Airlines, AnadoluJet app. However, when I downloaded the app, my last name was incorrectly saved as 'Gunden' due to a T9 error. Despite entering my last name correctly when buying the tickets, the app automatically copied the incorrect last name for both me and my daughter, and issued our tickets with the wrong names. This mistake could lead to my ticket being canceled, and if I request a refund, there will be an ₺800 deduction. But I do not want to cancel the tickets. Every time I called customer service, I received misleading and inconsistent explanations, which created a sense of distrust. They told me that if I didn't get a response, my ticket would be canceled. Despite emphasizing the urgency, I have not received any response for days. I have been greatly inconvenienced by the incorrect information provided by the customer service representative and the app's error. I have a baby and cannot constantly call to check my situation. Even though I stressed the urgency, I received no response and was again inconvenienced. When I checked for tickets on that date, the prices were extremely high, almost double, so I can't cancel. This situation has caused significant distrust in such a large airline company for mistreating a mother with a child. I will not use this company again and will delete the app. I believe an airline that values its customers would resolve my issue immediately. If not resolved, I will take legal action. My and my daughter's ticket numbers are 2352207574980 and 2352207574981. There is very little time left until my flight.
