SunExpress Flight XQ826 Delayed 22 Hours – No Compensation or Explanation Given

Our SunExpress flight XQ826 from Sarajevo, scheduled for July 21, was delayed for 22 hours without any prior notification. We only found out about the delay from an airline employee, and no SunExpress staff informed us about our rights or offered any explanation during the entire wait. When we requested compensation according to civil aviation regulations, we were told we weren’t entitled to any.

I’ve repeatedly asked SunExpress to explain why we aren’t eligible for compensation, but I haven’t received a clear answer. How is it possible that we suffered a loss of ₺7,000, which amounts to a full day of our 8-day tour, and no one is held accountable? SunExpress, please clarify under which regulations we are being denied compensation.
