SunExpress Denied Compensation After Canceled and Delayed Flights
We experienced significant issues with SunExpress on two flights: one on July 18, 2024, which was canceled, and another on July 20, 2024, that was delayed by 14 hours. The SunExpress staff at the airport assured us that we were entitled to compensation for both flights. However, after submitting a feedback form in late July, we finally received a response after two months, only to be told that we were not entitled to any compensation, just reimbursement for incurred expenses.
When we called SunExpress to ask why we weren’t eligible for compensation, they simply suggested we open another feedback form. This process has been frustrating, as they provided no explanation for denying our compensation and kept us waiting for two months. This has impacted us both financially and emotionally. We expect SunExpress to address this matter properly and honor our compensation rights.
