On December 29, 2025, I experienced a delay of more than 24 hours on my SunExpress flight XQ1721 from Hannover to Diyarbakır. During this entire period, no hotel accommodation, no food or beverage service, and no airport–hotel transportation were provided to me. I was forced to handle everything entirely at my own expense.
Because of the delay, I had to pay out of pocket for accommodation, food, and transportation. Despite this, SunExpress provided no information throughout the process, nor was I given any guidance on how my hardship would be addressed.
After this experience, I contacted SunExpress by email. I was asked to provide receipts and invoices for my expenses. However, since no one informed me during the delay that I needed to keep these documents, I did not retain the receipts. As a result, I was told that my request would not be processed because I could not submit the documents.
Due to this serious delay exceeding 24 hours and the complete lack of services provided, I am requesting reimbursement for the expenses I incurred and, in addition, appropriate compensation for the hardship I experienced.
