On December 10, 2024, I booked a flight with SunExpress from Berlin to Diyarbakır via İzmir. The flight was delayed by approximately three hours, which caused me to miss my İzmir-Diyarbakır connection. I eventually reached Diyarbakır on a different flight at 5:45 AM. However, my luggage did not arrive with me.
I reported the missing luggage to the lost and found desk at Diyarbakır Airport, where a report was filed. On December 12, 2024, I was informed that my luggage had arrived. Before accepting it, I opened it in front of airport staff and discovered that many of my personal belongings and gifts were missing.
When I checked in at Berlin, my suitcase weighed 30 kg, but I received it at only 15 kg. This weight discrepancy and missing items are unacceptable. I have all the necessary documentation, including the lost luggage report, receipts for the missing items, and my credit card statements.
Despite my complaints, SunExpress claims they are not responsible. This explanation is illogical—15 kg of my belongings did not simply vanish into thin air. I demand SunExpress take responsibility, compensate for my losses, and resolve this issue immediately.
