I Report Unrefunded Cancelled Flight And Unfair Penalty On Sunexpress Jordan Ticket
On 28 June 2025, despite the scheduled date of my Sunexpress flight to Jordan, the flight was suddenly cancelled, and my refund has still not been processed. I purchased my round-trip ticket to Jordan in May for 4300₺. Due to increasing safety concerns in the region, I requested to change my destination, suggesting an alternative such as Bosnia.
However, Sunexpress customer service—despite my 7 attempts to resolve this—demanded an additional 1600₺ penalty for this route change. This makes no sense because a new Bosnia ticket today costs 3600₺, far less than my original booking. Why should I pay extra when my original flight was cancelled for reasons beyond my control?
With only 3 days left before my planned departure, my entire travel plan is still uncertain. The financial loss and stress this has caused are unacceptable.
I request a full refund for the cancelled Jordan flight or a free rebooking to an alternative destination of my choice without penalties. Please resolve this issue within 14 days. After this ordeal, I will never purchase another Sunexpress ticket again.
