I Paid a Check-In Fee Despite Completing Online Check-In on My SunExpress Flight

On April 13, 2025, I flew with SunExpress Airlines from Bosnia-Herzegovina to Antalya. Before my flight, I successfully completed the online check-in process as required. However, when I arrived at the airport, I was still forced to pay a check-in fee, which made absolutely no sense.
I showed the staff proof that my online check-in had been completed through the system, but they completely disregarded it. To make matters worse, they told me they don’t accept euros—which is shocking, given that the departure was from Bosnia—and they also refused to take the local currency I had on hand. If I didn’t have a credit card with me at that moment, I would not have been allowed to board despite having done everything correctly.
This situation was deeply frustrating and unacceptable. I followed all instructions, yet I was treated like I hadn’t. I demand a full refund of the wrongly charged check-in fee and expect an official apology from SunExpress. No passenger should have to go through such unnecessary stress after complying with the airline’s procedures.
