SunExpress Canceled My Berlin-Istanbul Flight and Deducted ₺4,000 from Refund

I purchased a round-trip ticket from Berlin to Istanbul for December 22, 2024, with a return on January 5, 2025. SunExpress canceled the flight, citing operational reasons, which were entirely beyond my control. Despite this, they informed me that they would deduct over ₺4,000 from my refund. Additionally, they refused to convert the ticket into an open ticket for future use.

This level of indifference from the airline is unacceptable. Customers should not bear the financial burden of cancellations caused by the airline. The representatives I spoke with were unhelpful and lacked authority to resolve the issue. I expect SunExpress to fully refund my ticket without any deductions and provide a fair resolution promptly.
