I Face SunExpress Refusing €189 Refund for Canceled Izmir–Munich Trip
On March 10, 2025, my Izmir–Munich flight (XQ976) and on March 17, 2025, my Munich–Izmir return flight (XQ977) with SunExpress were both canceled. It has now been seven months, yet I have not received a refund of €189 to my credit card, nor have I been offered an alternative flight.
I have called SunExpress customer service multiple times, but they keep telling me to contact the travel agency (Kiwi.com) through which I purchased the tickets. However, Kiwi.com claims that SunExpress has not issued the refund to them and that I should contact SunExpress directly. Both parties keep shifting responsibility onto each other, and as a result, my issue remains unresolved.
My name is Sedat Çiftçi, and I am requesting that this issue be resolved immediately — either by issuing my refund of €189 or by providing a new flight on alternative dates.
