Southwind Airlines Delays and Poor Service Completely Ruined My Vacation
On July 5, 2025, my Southwind Airlines flight from Moscow to Antalya (scheduled departure 14:20) was delayed multiple times. First, the departure was rescheduled to 16:00, and then, while we were already at the gate, we were informed of another delay until 18:10. In the end, passengers were boarded at 17:30, and the flight finally departed at 18:30.
The entire experience was exhausting and frustrating. The airline offered only water during this long delay. When I asked for a sandwich, I was told there were none left. Instead of operating flights as planned, Southwind appeared to combine passengers from several flights into one larger aircraft.
Onboard service was also disappointing — no hot meals or hot drinks were provided. By the time we landed in Antalya, it was late at night. Public transport was no longer available, so I was forced to take a taxi instead of the tram, resulting in unnecessary extra expenses.
Adding to the frustration, there was no email notification about the second delay (to 18:10), which left us uninformed and stranded. The entire process felt disorganized and careless, almost as if it was designed to make things harder for passengers.
I expect Southwind Airlines to take responsibility, improve their flight punctuality and communication, and compensate for the financial and emotional inconvenience this situation caused.
