Yandex Go Glitch Caused Wrong Fee — Want My Money Back
On the morning of November 20, 2025, at 09:20 in Ankara, Yücetepe Mahallesi, Çankaya, I requested a ride through the Yandex Go app. The app first displayed a message saying “your car has arrived,” but there was no vehicle anywhere nearby. Then the screen suddenly changed, and it showed that the car would actually arrive in 9 minutes. I was in a hurry and didn’t want to wait, so I canceled the ride. However, because I canceled, a $1 cancellation fee was charged to my credit card.
This issue was entirely caused by the Yandex Go system — it first misled me by showing that the car had arrived, then reassigned a different driver and extended the wait time. This is also not the first problem I’ve had with Yandex Go; drivers frequently fail to arrive at the correct pickup location. In previous situations, I attempted to contact customer service, but I have never received a response.
I request that my cancellation fee be refunded, that I receive an apology for the inconvenience, and that this system issue be resolved so it doesn’t happen again.
