Skechers Kids’ Light-Up Boots Light Malfunction Denied as Warranty Issue

I purchased a pair of Skechers kids' light-up boots with a feature to turn the lights on and off. After 2-3 months, one boot’s light stopped responding to the button and stayed on permanently, while the other worked fine. I returned the boots to the Hilltown Küçükyalı store, which sent them to the center for inspection. Two days later, I received a message stating it was "user error." I called customer service to ask how pressing a button could be user error, and while the representative tried to help (and I appreciate their effort), the outcome didn’t change. I didn’t request a replacement; I just wanted the lights repaired or disabled. Skechers, as a brand selling ₺4,000 kids’ boots, should offer proper repair services instead of outright denying responsibility. A malfunctioning light is not user error. This situation reflects poorly on Skechers, and I urge them to reconsider their service policies to better support customers.
