On March 22, 2025, I purchased a pair of Skechers shoes from the Boyner store at Samsun Piazza AVM. Despite spending a significant amount, the shoes started to split open from the side and front after just 2 months of occasional use. I immediately contacted the store, and they accepted the shoes for inspection.
However, the result of the inspection claimed the issue was “customer-induced”—a conclusion I cannot understand. These shoes were worn under normal daily conditions, and I did not misuse or overuse them. How can such severe damage occur in such a short time if the product was of expected quality?
Spending so much on a product that fails quickly and then being blamed as the cause is deeply frustrating. I feel misled and disrespected as a consumer. I demand a free replacement or full refund, as this is clearly a manufacturing or material defect, not user error.
