On 21.09.2024, I purchased a pair of Skechers Edgeride – Smooth Journey sneakers for my 10-year-old daughter from the Forum İstanbul AVM Skechers store. The shoes were worn about three times a week under normal use. However, in a very short period, both shoes developed heavy wear on the front areas, and holes appeared around the toe sections.
On 15.04.2025, I returned the product for inspection, and I was given a receipt with reference number 1-457345. Unfortunately, the inspection result once again blamed the issue on user error, claiming it was not a manufacturing defect. The shoes were returned without any repair, replacement, or even an alternative solution.
Considering the shoes are still under warranty and were only used by a child in regular conditions, I find it unacceptable that Skechers refuses responsibility. I am requesting an exchange of the product and expect a prompt and solution-oriented response from the store to resolve this matter quickly.
