About a week ago, I bought a pair of Skechers GO Run Workout Walker shoes from the Olka Spor Skechers store at Emaar Mall. When I tried them on at home, I realized the size didn’t fit perfectly, so three days ago I went to the Akasya Mall store to exchange them for a different size. The shoes were only tried on at home—they were never worn outside—and I still have the original box, receipt, and all accessories in perfect condition.
I’m a Skechers Gold member and have purchased at least ten pairs from the brand over the years. However, when I visited the Hilltown Mall store today to return the shoes, I was told that a refund wasn’t possible because the Emaar Mall store is a franchise location and my size exchange was processed at the Akasya Mall store. This explanation makes no sense to me. The return period is still valid, and I was never informed of such a rule during the purchase. There’s also no mention of this policy on my receipt. When I called customer service, Ms. E*** told me that the rule exists in the “agreement and internal regulations,” but customers have no way to access that information.
I paid approximately ₺8,000 by credit card. As a loyal customer for many years, I find this situation unacceptable. I strongly object to these arbitrary store policies and request that my return be accepted immediately and my issue resolved as soon as possible.
