Skechers Refused to Exchange Shoes After Brief Use at Home




I highly discourage choosing this brand if you wish to steer clear of the exasperating encounter I endured. I bought a pair of shoes from the Skechers store at Istanbul Özdilek AVM on 18.08.2024. However, when I went back later that day to exchange them for a smaller size, I was informed that the shoes had been worn and couldn't be exchanged according to the store's policy. As a consumer, I had only tested the shoes briefly at home and discovered they were too large. Upon my return to the store, I had hoped for a straightforward exchange. However, I encountered an unexpected level of resistance. It's quite perplexing how customers are allowed to freely roam the store in shoes, yet simply descending the stairs at home is deemed as "use." I would like a full refund for the shoes that don't fit, rather than an exchange. After noticing a significant number of complaints regarding similar issues, I have taken the necessary steps to bring this matter to the attention of the appropriate authorities. I am determined to persist in my efforts to resolve this.
When I spoke with customer service, they said they had recorded my complaint and would get back to me, but I have not yet received a response. Bravo, congratulations!
