I purchased a pair of Skechers shoes in late December 2024, expecting durability and comfort, but within less than a year, the sides of the shoes started to split open. I wore them only occasionally for 5–6 months, and still, the material gave out far too quickly for such a well-known brand.
I took the shoes back to the Skechers store where I bought them, and they sent them for inspection. A week later, the shoes were returned with the response that the issue was not manufacturing-related. This is unacceptable. I chose Skechers for their advertised reliability and build quality, and this experience completely contradicts that image.
Meanwhile, my Nike shoes have lasted over 5 years without such issues. I demand Skechers take responsibility and either replace the shoes or issue a refund. Your customer service needs to stand behind your product.
