I purchased a pair of Skechers shoes in February 2024, expecting quality and durability. However, despite not wearing them frequently, the top of the shoe split open. I sent them to the manufacturer for inspection, only to have them returned with a denial, claiming the damage was due to user error.
If this were truly a wear-and-tear issue, the sides would have split, not the top! I have owned several Skechers shoes and never experienced anything like this. On top of that, I always buy a half size bigger (38.5 instead of 38) to ensure a comfortable fit, so the idea that I somehow "forced" the top of the shoe to break is ridiculous.
Skechers, this is unacceptable! Instead of blaming the customer, you should stand behind your products and conduct proper inspections. I expect a replacement or a full refund.
