In November 2024, I purchased a pair of Skechers Arch Fit shoes for about $143 USD from the Skechers store at Sur Yapı, paying in two installments. I used the shoes in the city for daily wear, including on rainy days. However, within a short time, the heels began to peel, deteriorate, and lose shape.
I sent the product for inspection, and under claim number 1-524699 I received a standard message stating, “No manufacturing defect was found.” When I contacted customer service again, they simply repeated that it was “user error” and said no further action could be taken.
It is unacceptable that such deformation occurred so quickly; this cannot be explained as user error—it clearly indicates a manufacturing defect. I did not expect this kind of response from a global brand. I request that the product be re-inspected and, if necessary, evaluated through an independent technical report.
