I Was Denied Warranty for My Reeder S23 Pro Despite Defects
I bought the Reeder S23 Pro 256 GB after years of using Apple products. The major reason was that my phone was stolen and I wanted a cheaper choice. I thought it would cover my fundamental needs, but I rapidly learned that I had made the wrong choice. The phone had big problems from the start: the navigation didn't work, the phone kept freezing, and the screen started working on its own. I sent the phone to Reeder's authorized service center because it was still under warranty and I thought they would fix it. Instead, they said they wouldn't cover it because of a little fracture on the back cover, which had nothing to do with the technical concerns I described. They also asked for a lot of money to fix it. I tried to explain that the crack was just a cosmetic issue and not the cause of the problems, but no one really listened. I was really disappointed that the firm wouldn't take responsibility and wouldn't honor basic warranty requirements. I'm going to take the issue to the Consumer Arbitration Board and keep following up. Reeder has to understand that providing fair and legal after-sales service is not an option; it is a legal duty.
