Reeder Refused to Replace My S19 Max Battery Under Warranty and Demands Payment

I purchased two Reeder S19 Max 4GB RAM 128GB phones. One of them started draining its battery quickly and eventually stopped charging altogether. Since the phone could not charge, it turned off completely. When I plug it in while turned off, the screen displays a "not charging" symbol. I took my device to the Reeder service center at Sakarya Cadde54 under warranty, but the staff claimed it was not covered due to a small scratch on the corner of the screen. I explained that the screen was intact and still displayed the charging symbol. I requested a battery replacement under warranty, as I believe this would resolve the issue. However, they insisted that the phone would only be repaired for a fee, without even diagnosing the issue first, and if the battery was replaced, I would have to pay ₺2500 for a brand-new phone instead. The battery itself costs around ₺600 online, meaning I would be paying an unnecessary ₺1900. While my phone should have been repaired free of charge under warranty, I asked the store to send it for an official service report to be used in the Consumer Court. On February 26, 2025, I called Reeder Turkey’s service center and learned that my phone was never sent for repair and was still sitting in the store. They continue to push me to pay ₺2500 for a replacement instead of simply replacing the battery. I demand that Reeder’s service center replace my battery and return my phone as they are required to under warranty.
