Pegasus Airlines Flight Delay and Connecting Flight Issue
The Krakow–Baku flight with Pegasus Airlines is operated via a transfer in Antalya, but only a 1-hour connection time is given. While the flight initially seemed fine, a 90-minute delay on the Krakow–Antalya leg made it impossible to catch the Antalya–Baku flight. The refund should have been made only for the second flight, but instead both flights were canceled and refunded. It was the last day of my aunt’s visa, and since it was her first time traveling abroad, I could not leave her stranded in Antalya after missing her flight. Pegasus accepted the refund request, but because the notice came less than 8 hours before the flight and it was the final day of the visa, we were put under great stress and had to buy another flight at ten times the price with a long layover. Flight disruptions can be understandable, but when traveling with connections, there should be at least a 2–3 hour layover, as Pegasus refunds not just the second flight but the entire journey, leaving passengers in a very difficult situation.
