We purchased round-trip tickets for four people from Pegasus Airlines for the Denizli-Istanbul-Germany route. While there were no issues on the outbound journey, the return was a nightmare. After arriving in Istanbul from Germany, we were supposed to connect to a flight to Denizli. However, due to delays in transferring our luggage from the Germany flight, only two of us could board the Denizli flight, while my two daughters were left stranded in Istanbul without their luggage.
When we reported the issue to Pegasus staff, they assured us they would handle hotel accommodations and rebooking for the next day’s flight. Trusting their promise, I left my daughters in Istanbul late at night. However, when my daughters informed the staff of the situation, they refused to provide the hotel, despite acknowledging it was their mistake. All they offered was a new flight ticket, leaving my daughters stranded and us deeply distressed, both financially and emotionally.
When I tried to file a formal complaint via phone, Pegasus refused to process it, claiming the PNR number was incorrect. For a company of Pegasus’s size, this behavior is unacceptable. Their mishandling caused us significant inconvenience, and I expect them to take full responsibility and provide proper compensation for this ordeal.
