Unauthorized MyIQ Test Payment Complaint
I hold a bank account with ANZ, and today I discovered that an amount of $52.77 was taken from my account without my knowledge or consent, apparently linked to an online IQ test. I did not knowingly agree to any paid subscription or recurring payment, and I was not clearly informed that money would be taken from my account. This transaction appeared on my ANZ bank account today, and it has caused me serious distress, as I am 70 years old and I need this money urgently to pay my rent, which is due tomorrow. I contacted ANZ about this transaction, and I was told to contact you regarding the issue. I request that this unauthorized payment of $52.77 be investigated as soon as possible and that the amount be refunded to my ANZ bank account urgently so that I can meet my rent payment. I also ask that any related subscriptions or future payments linked to this IQ test be cancelled so that no further money is taken without my clear consent.
