We bought Mustela Stelatopia cream for our 1-month-old baby, based on our doctor’s recommendation, trusting the brand’s promise of being gentle and safe for newborns. For two consecutive days, we applied the cream once daily, expecting it to soothe and nourish our baby’s sensitive skin.
Instead, we experienced the opposite. The cream caused severe redness on our baby's skin, which quickly spread to other parts of the body. Our baby became visibly uncomfortable and irritable, and no matter what we did, the reaction did not subside. It was heartbreaking to see our newborn in distress from a product that was supposed to help.
We chose Mustela thinking it was a premium brand known for safety and quality, especially for infants. This experience has been extremely disappointing and worrisome. We expected care, not harm.
We demand an immediate response and a solution from Mustela. At the very least, our grievance should be acknowledged and investigated thoroughly. No parent should have to go through this after placing their trust—and their baby's health—in your hands.
