I trusted Mustela and bought several of their products for my baby, including items from the Stelatopia line, but unfortunately, they caused a serious allergic reaction. At first, I thought my baby might be reacting to dairy, but after applying Mustela’s oil, my baby broke out in red patches and blister-like bumps all over the body—similar to hives or insect bites. It was immediately clear that the reaction was from the product.
We also used the Stelatopia shampoo, which provided absolutely no benefit. In fact, it only made the allergic reaction worse. I’m shocked that a brand marketed as safe and dermatologically tested for babies could cause this level of irritation.
As a concerned parent, I cannot continue using these products. I’m prepared to return everything I purchased and demand a full refund. I urge Mustela to take accountability and respond quickly. Baby skincare is not something to be careless with—your products should offer safety, not harm.
