I own a Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max. On May 2, 2026, when I removed the factory protective stickers from the vehicle, I noticed peeling and deterioration on the surface coating of the climate control touch panel — an area that is constantly touched and used during normal driving.

I purchased the vehicle from an authorized dealer in Samsun, and this issue immediately made me think there could be a manufacturing or material-quality defect related to the interior trim components. I later visited the authorized service center regarding the problem, but I was told that the issue was not caused by the product or manufacturing process and that it was supposedly due to external factors.

I do not accept this explanation or the claim that the issue is user-related. I only discovered the defect while removing the original factory-installed protective stickers, which means the damage was already present or caused by poor coating quality rather than any misuse on my part.

I request a clear technical explanation from both Chery and the authorized service center regarding how coating peeling can occur on a touch-sensitive panel that is designed for constant physical interaction during normal vehicle use.

I also request that the peeling climate control touch panel be evaluated under warranty coverage and that the defective part be replaced free of charge. I want this issue to be reviewed again, especially since my warranty claim was rejected under the claim of user error, and I expect my complaint and resulting inconvenience to be resolved properly.
