I purchased kitchen equipment purchasing, measuring, delivery, and installation services from the Bayrampaşa branch in Istanbul, Turkey. My tenant and Ikea had made design with using the measurement tenant provided. I went to purchase the product. The employee told me only the designer could access the file and scheduled an appointment for a week later. When I arrived at the appointment date, I explained the situation to the employee, he said no such thing existed and that any employee could access the design information. When checking with the design department, we realized the measurement was incorrect. I purchased a measuring service from IKEA. An appointment was set, but they didn't show up on the scheduled date. I called call center the same day. They asked me for the order no. I couldn't tell the number. They couldn't find the service I had purchased in their records. The next day I got the number and called the same call center. I was told the call center number I called wasn't handling this issue and that I should call another number. When I called the other call center, they told me the work to be done at my home wasn't showing up because it couldn't log in to the system. On the 2. appointment date, measurement was taken. Then I went back for design. The purchase was made. I made an appointment for installation. They didn't show up again. When I called on the appointment date, they told me they couldn't find my record in the system. A new appointment date was set. During installation it turned out that the measurements were incorrect. I was told I would have to go back to the branch for new purchase. New parts were purchased. New installation appointment was made. The day before the appointment, I called to remind them, but they still weren't showing up in the system. Ikea somehow managed to arrange the arrangements, and they came to my house on the appointment date. The faulty parts were not taken. I was not refunded. They came to the assembly appointment. One of the parts turned out to be defective so the assembly could not be completed. Two dates were given for the delivery and installation of the defective part. The team that delivered the defective part did not take back the parts I had left as a result of the incorrect design. The team that came to install the defective part failed to install it. It turned out that the measurements and design were also incorrect. My complaint has not been resolved. The process is still ongoing, unresolved.
