Russell Hobbs Food Chopper Has Repeated Rust and Motor Failures

About one year ago, I purchased a Russell Hobbs food chopper from the Any Home store at Ankara Kentpark Mall, and since the day I bought it, I have been dealing with both rusting and motor failure issues.

Initially, I sent the chopper to the authorized service center due to severe rusting. At that time, the motor was working properly, and I sent the product in only for the rust issue. The product was returned with the rust problem supposedly fixed, but this time the motor was defective. As soon as I plugged it in, it started running on its own without pressing the button, and I was only able to use it once in that condition.

After that single use, rust appeared again, and I sent the product back to the service center. This time, they said the motor issue had been fixed and that work had been done regarding the rust. However, the rust problem remained exactly the same. I then contacted the service again and requested a refund, sharing clear photos and videos showing the rust. Despite this, my request was rejected with the claim that “there is no rust; we don’t see it.”

I no longer believe that this chopper—which has suffered from both rust and motor defects—can be used safely or hygienically. Due to the ongoing issues, poor service communication, and lack of a proper resolution, I am requesting a full refund for this product.
